Welcome to Tackle Hubs Encoder (“Tackle Hubs”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), a cloud-based live video multistreaming and RTMP encoder service operated by Tackle Events (stream.tackleevents.com).

This Privacy Policy explains in transparent detail how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information, live stream telemetry, payment records, and cloud storage integrations when you use our platform, APIs, and RTMP/SRT streaming endpoints.

By creating an account, connecting broadcast destinations, or utilizing our video recording and cloud offload services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this policy.

02. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide low-latency live streaming, multistream distribution, automated recording, and account management:

Account Credentials & Profile Data

When registering an account, we collect your full name, email address, optional mobile phone number (for Ghanaian Mobile Money / SMS verification), and a securely hashed password.

Streaming Ingest Keys & Destination Configuration

We generate and assign unique RTMP/SRT stream keys for your ingress. To execute multistreaming relays, we store the third-party RTMP ingest URLs and destination stream keys (e.g., YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch, TikTok, custom RTMP endpoints) that you configure in your studio dashboard.

Live Streaming Telemetry & Session Metrics

During active broadcasts, our media server (MediaMTX) and FFmpeg transcoders process technical stream metrics including video bitrate, audio bitrate, framerate (FPS), video resolution (e.g., 1080p60), packet timestamps, connection durations, and error logs.

Billing & Payment Information (Paystack)

Payments for our monthly subscription plans (Starter, Standard, Premium) are processed securely by our certified payment partner, Paystack (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). Tackle Hubs never stores your credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or Mobile Money PINs on our servers. We receive only transaction reference tokens, customer codes, and subscription status confirmations from Paystack.

03. Google Drive User Data & API Limited Use Disclosure

Tackle Hubs offers an optional feature enabling users to automatically offload broadcast recordings to their personal Google Drive storage. This section governs our integration with the Google Drive API in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

API Scopes Requested

Our integration strictly requests the minimal necessary scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file

This restricted scope grants access only to files and folders created or opened by Tackle Hubs. We cannot view, access, modify, or delete any preexisting files or folders in your Google Drive.

How Google User Data is Accessed & Used:

OAuth Authentication: We exchange authorization codes for access and refresh tokens to execute authenticated upload calls on your behalf.
Folder Provisioning: We automatically create and maintain a dedicated folder named “Tackle Hubs Recordings” in your Google Drive root directory.
Recording Upload: Upon conclusion of your live broadcast, our background workers upload the resulting MP4 video and extracted MP3 audio files directly to that folder.
Zero Retention on Live Server: Immediately after Google Drive confirms successful file receipt, the local MP4 and MP3 files are permanently deleted from our live streaming server storage, freeing up server disk space.

Google User Data Protection Guarantees:

No Sale of Data: We will never sell, rent, lease, or monetize any data obtained through Google APIs.
No Advertising / Tracking: Google user data is not used for targeted ads, user profiling, or surveillance.
No AI / Model Training: Your uploaded video/audio recordings and Google account metadata are never used to train machine learning models, neural networks, or artificial intelligence algorithms.
Human Review Restrictions: No human will read or inspect your Google Drive files unless you provide explicit consent to resolve a specific technical support issue or where required by law.
Revocation & Purging: You may disconnect Google Drive at any moment directly from your Studio Dashboard or through Google Security Permissions. Disconnecting immediately removes all tokens, client secrets, and Google account associations from our database.

Tackle Hubs’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

04. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following legitimate purposes:

Live Multistream Relay Relaying your incoming RTMP/SRT stream to your configured destinations (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, custom servers).
Video & Audio Processing Encoding recordings into MP4 video and extracting standalone MP3 audio files according to your preferences.
Subscription Billing Managing recurring monthly subscription tiers, plan destination limits, and Paystack invoicing.
Security & Abuse Prevention Monitoring broadcast health, preventing unauthorized stream key reuse, and enforcing our Acceptable Use Policy.

05. Third-Party Integrations

When utilizing Tackle Hubs, your stream and data may interact with trusted third-party providers:

Paystack (Stripe Subsidiary): Handles PCI-DSS compliant credit card and Mobile Money recurring subscriptions.
Google LLC: Facilitates OAuth authentication and Google Drive cloud offload for video/audio recordings.
Streaming Destination Platforms: When you broadcast to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or TikTok, your live audio and video content is delivered directly to their respective ingestion networks and becomes subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

06. Data Retention & Auto-Purge Policy

We believe in strict data minimization and zero unnecessary storage:

Local Server Recording Expiration If Google Drive auto-offload is disabled, recordings on the live streaming server automatically expire and are permanently wiped from the server disk after 24 hours.

0-HR

Immediate Google Drive Offload Purge When Google Drive offload is enabled, local recording files are deleted from the live server disk immediately upon successful cloud upload.

ACCOUNT

User Account Termination Upon account deletion or request, all stream keys, destination endpoints, and Google OAuth tokens are permanently deleted from our database.

07. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical measures to safeguard your information:

HTTPS/TLS encryption across all web interfaces, dashboard sessions, and API endpoints.
RTMPS (RTMP over TLS) and SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) encrypted live stream ingestion.
Database encryption of Google OAuth refresh tokens and API credentials.
Isolated Linux process environments with dedicated systemd supervisors and access controls.

08. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you possess specific privacy rights:

Access & Portability: View and export your stream destination configs, billing invoices, and recordings at any time.
Correction & Update: Modify your name, email, stream key, or password through your account settings.
Revocation of Google Access: Disconnect your Google Drive integration anytime via your Studio Dashboard or through Google's permissions page.
Account Deletion: Request complete erasure of your account, stream keys, and associated telemetry by contacting us.
